This site is intended for use by professionals in the entertainment industry. Think of it as my personal songwriter's showcase online. A video format has been chosen as the primary demo of my songs as they are more captivating than simply listening to music, and they will give you a sense of my sound tracking abilities and video editing skills.
All tunes are written and performed by myself, J.M Cass. Keep in mind that I am a writer more than a performer these days. Most songs were recorded without any production what so ever, pure and dry - I call it "singing in a can". These songs would the same as if I were sitting at your kitchen table on a Friday afternoon playing you a few tunes.

Professionals are required to contact me for permissions and licensing, so if you file a tax return as a musician, performer, producer or any other profession in the entertainment industry you're a professional in my book. All non-pros are welcome to use any of this material for personal use. So you weekend warriors and coffee house addicts can have at it. Just give credit where credit is due.
This is all copyrighted material, fees will be assessed along the going rates in the industry. I will consider outright sales of any of the songs at a negotiable payment. I currently represent myself, but am willing to utilize the agent of your choice. Check back anytime for more videos.
